Fresh wet fish

Delivered daily from the UK's premier ports, we stock a comprehensive list of the best quality wet fish inlcluding:

Rainbow trout, mackerel, sardines, yellowfin tuna, swordfish, monkfish, farmed & wild bass.

Haddock from the Faroe Isles, Norway, Iceland and line-caught by Cornish day boats.

Icelandic & Irish cod, pollock, hake halibut brill, turbot, dover, lemon & megrim sole, dabs, red mullet, grey mullet, gurnards, plaice, herring, John Dory, Conger eel, squid & octopus.


Our crabs and lobsters are sold either whole or dressed are supplied to us by the premier producer in Grimsby who are a small family-run business, renowned for their quality produce.

When in season we supply the famous Welsh Conwy mussels and the delicious Shetland rope-grown mussels.

When in season, we supply Scottish and North Sea king scallops.


P Crabtree & Son offer Halifax's largest range of selected game, during the available seasons. Our stock consists of venison, pheasant, partridge, pidgeon, grouse, mallard, guinea fowl and rabbit.

Smoked fish

Our range of smoked fish consists of smoked haddock, cod, mackerel, the famous Manx Kippers and, when available, Arbroath smokies.

Frozen fish

We maintain a well-stocked frozen selection including Morecambe bay potted shrimps, raw tiger prawns, royal greenland cooked luxury prawns, langoustines crevettes, New Zealand green shell, mussels, squid and gourmet fishcakes.
